Greetings, Edheads On-line

Between April & May, two more members hit the big 4-0 (Julie & Robbie, respectively), and two others got engaged. No, not to each other, but already-40 Mike popped the question to his beloved Judy in April, and Eddie to his beloved Kathy in May following our wonderful midwest trip. Between all the birthday parties and engagement celebrations, we're ready to settle down and get serious: Why not got to Kansas? Sure, we've driven through this vast state, but never performed there. NOTE FROM JULIE

Many, many, many thanks go out to all of you wonderful Edheads who supported, donated, or participated in the Walk to Cure Diabetes, which was held on Sunday May 7th. Bubba's Buddies was there in full swing - about 25 or so folks and kids. The day was absolutely glorious and we all had a good time. In case any of you forgot or still wish to make a donation, there's still time. The JDRF have not reached their monetary goal of $1,000,000.00 yet, so they are keeping the donation lines open until June 30th. You can visit my link at:
http://walk.jdrf.org/walker.cfm?id=86318631

In addition, I will be taking part in the Susan G. Komen, Race for the Cure - held in Washington DC on June 3rd. This wil be my first time participating, as the honorary captain of Team Heather. I am also excited and incredibly honored to have been chosen to kick off the day's events by singing the Star Spangled Banner. All information regarding the race, can be found by visiting my personal website at:
http://www.nrftc.kintera.org/faf/r.asp?t=4&i=164980&u=164980-125046278

Thanks to all of you who have donated to the site, and have supported me throughout this journey. I am continuously reminded that I am truly blessed.
ROBBIE RELEASES FIRST KIDS CD "SONGS FOR KIDS LIKE US"

Robbie Schaefer's first collection of children's music, SONGS FOR KIDS LIKE US, has been officially released by Rocket Pop Records. World markets remain stable. Kids go bonkers. Moms and Dads play it cool, then secretly go bonkers when the kids aren't around. Attorneys file class action libel suits on behalf of feculent fish everywhere (listen and you will understand). SONGS FOR KIDS LIKE US is a catchy, clever, and slightly cheeky romp through musical styles and colorful arrangements sure to delight both kids and kids at heart. Really. Pinky-swear.
Order on-line now from Robbie's new kid-centric website, www.songsforkidslikeus.com (which includes streaming songs, show info, and of course, coloring pages), as well as www.rocketpoprecords.com.
