Network TV appearance? A West Coast tour? Robbie's birthday on the 26th? Read on.... EDDIE FROM OHIO ON CBS THROUGHOUT MONTH OF MAY You read that right. After 14 years, we're finally making our debut appearance on Network Television (in living color).. Here's how it happened. We were commissioned by an old pal, Jeff, to come up with a theme song for a Reality Golf show. That's correct: A Reality Golf show. Reality TV has now covered every possible topic. The show involves 8 amateur golfers who tour the country in buses while playing 18 holes throughout the most prestigious courses in the States. It's called PGA TOUR 18: GOLF'S ULTIMATE ROAD TRIP. Robbie wrote the song "Drive", Eddie produced the recording of the band at his home studio, Julie sang beautifully, and Mike, uh, shanked one in the woods - another in the lake - and broke his clubs in frustration. What is more, while we were in Austin TX last week, the TV crew came out (Linda the Makeup Artist, Ted the Key Grip, etc) and made a video of us performing to the tune in all our lip-synching, air-guitaring fury. It was quite an experience, and you can read more about it in Julie's April journal entry. What you'll see is the show opening like a music video with images of us and the golfers over the soundtrack of the theme song "Drive". An educated guess is that it will happen at the beginning of the show. Various EFO songs are used throughout the show as background music. The show will air every Saturday of May (except the 14th) at 2pm EST on CBS (Check your local listings). You can read more about the show and the air times at http://www.pgatour.com/multimedia/pgatour18 Set your TiVo, program your VCR, wake your neighbors, spay and neuter your pets. EFO TO HIT THE LEFT COAST COUPLED WITH 1ST EVER STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL APPEARANCE IN LATE MAY Normally, we only get to the Pacific Time Zone about once a year, but thankfully, we'll be returning even sooner, when we tour from Seattle to the San Fran Bay area, all leading up to our debut appearance at the prestigious Strawberry Festival. We're excited to see that our Main Stage slot will be followed by the Nashville Bluegrass Band and then Little Feat! We'll be in great company. Details are listed below. NEW EFO FASHIONS ARE HERE ..... PLAY BALL!! Just in time for Spring, new EFO fashions are in! The band is also juiced about our hometown region of Washington, DC finally getting a Major League baseball team after a 34-year absence. This return is cause for celebration, and celebrate we will... by issuing our own Official EFO Baseball Shirts! (In both Men and Women's designs). AND, for those chillier regions this Spring (after yeeeears of requests) we've finally come out with the first EDDIEFROMOHIO hooded sweatshirt!! (Don't forget how cold Falcon Ridge nights get!) These new fashions will be available at all EFO shows, but you can view and also purchase these new fashions online at: http://www.bulletproofstore.com/onlinestore/category.cfm?Category=19 JULIE ANNOUNCES: THE WALK TO CURE DIABETES ON MAY 7 "Bubba’s Buddies" is back!
