Thanks for all the kind feedback about our ninth CD. So glad you like it. (And if you didn't like it -- thanks for not sharing). Like we always say, if we didn't care what you thought, we would've only pressed four copies. Don't have a copy of "This is Me" yet? You can get one right now online by visiting: http://www.bulletproofstore.com/onlinestore/category.cfm?Category=19 November tour dates and beyond are listed below, here's the news: EFO IS COLORADO-BOUND - UTAH NOV 6 SHOW IS CANCELLED (REPLACED WITH BOULDER IN-STORE & CARBONDALE SHOW) November will get off to a great start as we head to the Mountain State of Colorado for 4-date run. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, the Salt Lake City show scheduled for Nov 6 has been cancelled. Our deepest apologies to the faithful contingent of Utah, and hope there's a chance to reschedule down the road. Lucky for us, a very astute Edhead of Carbondale, CO made note of our new open date and offered his venue. Rather than spend a night playing Centipede at the hotel arcade, we gladly accepted and hope you high-altitude folks of Central CO will venture on out to Steve's Guitars on Nov 6! Earlier that same day, we'll be doing an in-store appearance in Boulder, CO at Bart's CD Cellar & Record Shop, 1015 Pearl St., Boulder CO, 303-447-8150. We'll be there at 12noon. AND THEY NAMED THE RV..... HAZEL. It wasn't easy, but we narrowed the field down to about a half dozen worthy names, consulted our Magic 8 ball, and decided from there. Why Hazel? Why not? We thank the many of you (with an enviable abundance of spare time) who chimed in with suggestions. Ginny (as in short for Virginia) was a popular one, and a fine idea at that. The only problem, however, is that our present nickname for the vehicle's generator is "Gennie"... and, you know, that would invite a whole world of trouble and confusion.... sort of like naming twin boys Ted and Todd.... it'll just come back to haunt you. Here's a pretty comprehensive list of the "printable" nomenclature that came in from you: America; aunt bea the rv; Bertha; Betty Sue; Betty; Beulah; BREAK WINDy ; Calamity Jane; Camille; CARLY; Carrie; Christopher; Clara; Clover; Clyde the New Ride; Darlene; Delores ; E.T.; Edith; Eleanor; Elphaba; Ethel; Etta; EUNICE; Fiona, The Four Wind Ford; Gertrude; Ginny the RV!; Gloriann; Greta; Gretel; GYPSY; Harriet the Chariot; Hazel; Isabella; Janice; Jezebelle; Joni; Jorjanna; Julie's Joy Ride; LauRV Partridge; Lawanda; Lena; Lenore; Lily; Lola; Lorena; LuLu; Marcia! Marcia! Marcia!; Marge; Marilu; Maude; Melinda; Michelle; Minowa; Olga; Ophelia; P.J. RV; Patty; Pearl; PRISCILLA; queen sophia; SacagaweaRV; Scott The Land Yacht; Sheba; Squirt; Stella; Takoda; Talulah ; Telulah; The Paddy Wagon; TIYI; Trixie; Van-essa; Veronica; Virginia or "Ginny"; Winema; Xena NEW WEBSITE October 19 was one busy day for EFO -- the CD was released, the vehicle was purchased, and the new website was launched. Thank you again for all your kind words about the new site. We're certainly pleased. Please be patient as we're presently re-training the EFO camp to get the most up to date info posted as quickly as possible. We have a little learning curve, at first, but should be streamlined very soon. Other features that are still in the works are the HTML site, and the Street Team page. Kudos to the crack design team at Lawrence Marie! FOLK THE VOTE! November Two -- you know what to do. Donate blood and you just get some Famous Amos cookies and a juice box. Pull a lever, push a button or punch a hole and you get a free sticker as well as a say in our government. Not a bad deal. SWEEPING UP CHADS: EFO IN FL (Nov 11, 12 & 13) Speaking of Election Day, we'll be making a rare appearance in the state that made the last Uber Tuesday so famous: FLORIDA. Check out the details below. EFO TO HIT PHILLY, NYC & OWINGS MILLS, MD (Nov 17,18 & 20) The week before Thanksgiving we look forward to our first ever visit to a new Philadelphia room - World Cafe Live. The next night we look forward to a return to one of our swankiest NYC haunt - BB Kings. The week wraps up with a return to a great venue north of Baltimore at the Gordon's Center (a very viable room for our NoVirginia home-towner roadtrippers). Details below. EFO SECURES A FINE WEST COAST SWEEP IN EARLY DECEMBER We plan to take on more than just the Golden State of California on our next Left Coast trip, as after our four shows in Cali, we'll head on up north to Portland and Seattle (our first visit since 1999!). Spread the word, PWN Edheads! Shows are listed below. JELLYFISH BLUES TO PERFORM AT THE STATE THEATRE IN FALLS CHURCH, VA NOV 26 EDDIE'S BAND, BROTHER SHAMUS, TO APPEAR AT MADAM'S ORGAN IN WASH, DC NOV 27. A Jellyfish Blues show is a rare thing. To have two Fish shows scheduled a month apart is unprecedented. Sadly, the Oct 16 Clarendon Day show was rained out (thanks to those who attempted a pilgrimage), however, this scheduled show is guaranteed NOT TO RAIN OUT!! Who are the JBB? Well, give Julie a well-deserved break, and replace her with lead guitar monster and friend, Kevin Gallagher (Floyd the Barber, Sparkplugs) and you've got the Jellyfish Blues Band. Rumor has it, they've even practiced. Come on out on the Friday of Thanksgiving weekend when this bar-banding foursome opens up for fellow reuniting chums New Potato Caboose. Details below. The next night, Saturday Nov 27, Eddie's funky acoustic side band, Brother Shamus will be laying down their infectious groove at Madam's Organ in Adam's Morgan, Washington, DC. They should have their new EP in tow, as well. Check out http://www.madamsorgan.com/ for details. THE 4TH EDHEAD CRUISE WILL BE CHANGED Due to circumstances beyond our control (our scheduled ship became "unavailable"), we are forced once again to change the details for our fourth Edhead Cruise. Presently scheduled for Sept 29 through Oct 3, 2005, we're uncertain at this juncture if we'll have to move dates or just the points of departure and destination. Please be patient, in the meantime, and we hope to post the new information as soon as we know something.
