As we mentioned in our most recent mid-March emailer, we were forced to cancel two weeks worth of shows because of an emergency in Julie's family. The situation is now under control to the point where we're ready to blaze the folk trail again. We not only extend our sincere thanks to all affected but the postponed shows (venues & showgoers), but also to all who forwarded their well-wishing emails (or as we've come to refer to them: Wells-wishing). We don't deserve you. We'd love to earn you back. Check out the shows at the bottom of this email, and c'mon out! Many of the postponed Feb & March shows have been rescheduled in May (see the very bottom of this email) MASTER OF THE 88s, JON CARROLL EMBEDDED WITH EFO AT THE IRON HORSE The man who's given us so much great ivory-tickling on our CDs, including the latest "Three Rooms", Jon Carroll, will join us for our upcoming three-show-run at the Iron Horse of Northampton, MA (4/4, 7pm & 9:30pm - 4/5, 7pm- that's THIS weekend). If you're on the fence about attending, then it's time to fall off that rail into our pasture. It's always a hootenanny when Jon's on board. The word is that Saturday is already on its way to a pre-show sellout, so don't miss out (details below). APRIL SHOWS FROM NYC TO KENTUCKY! We're glad to be headin' back to BB Kings in NYC on Thursday, April 11 (details below). After that, we sweep the Keystone State of PA for a Philly area show (Bryn Athyn, April 12) and a first ever appearance at Pittsburgh's Club Cafe (April 24), in an effort to broker peace between Flyers & Penguins fans. Then it's 'Hello, Cleveland' at the Beachland Ballroom (April 25), and our first ever appearance in the Bluegrass State of Kentucky, when we play Jack Quinns in Covington(April 26). This should also please the patient and elite legion of Cincinnati Edheads. Trivia - name the 12 U.S. states EFO has still not played. Answers are written down....somewhere. IT'S OFFICIAL: "THREE ROOMS" ROCKS Not since "The Who Live At Leeds", "Frampton Comes Alive" & "The Wiggles At Budokan" has a double live album so furiously, unapologetically, scorchingly, and yes, punctually ROOOOCKED, like our latest "Three Rooms". Edhead Cruise III will take place November 13-17, 2003. It will be a four day cruise this time, as opposed to three. One of the most exciting things is the point of origin and return: NEW ORLEANS!!! This leaves a whole lotta potential for N'awlins Nonsense on both sides of the trip. The cruise will go from N.O. to Cozumel and back aboard Carnival's Holiday ship.
