BIG HOMETOWN CD RELEASE AT HISTORIC WARNER THEATRE, SATURDAY, MARCH 1

There are still a few good seats left for our big hometown CD release date. On Saturday, March 1, EFO will be joined by the fabulous musicians who helped to make "Three Rooms" such an audio delight. Jon Carroll (keys) and John Jennings (guitars) will hold down The Wall of Jo(h)n Sound, while the great Fillmore Horns (Chris, Ron & Alan) will reconvene for another fine session. Anyone who attended our memorable Warner show in October, 2001 will remember what a great hall it truly is. Well, the band is back. The band is bigger......and this time...IT'S PERSONAL!
Don't miss this one. Details are below. Tickets are available at ticketmaster.com or by calling 202/432-SEAT.

THREE ROOMS THE NEW LIVE DOUBLE DISC FROM EFO

On February 11, the new live CD was officially released. From the Internet, to retail stores, to live show sales, they've been moving briskly, but even more encouraging is the feedback:
"The best you guys have done so far - the best album to date."
"Love that piano!"
"Is Bob single?"
Well, thanks for all your comments & compliments. We're glad you approve. If we only did it for ourselves, we would've just pressed four copies. Don't have one yet? You can go to your local Borders (and many fine other retailers), or order online
http://www.bulletproofstore.com

There's more info about Three Rooms as well as sound samples at our new website.

NEW WEBSITE NOW OFFERS HTML OPTION!!!!!

The people have spoken, and the band has listened. The new & improved website is now even more new & improved and offers both Flash & HTML viewing options. So there! Don't say we don't spread the love. Note- the HTML viewing doesn't carry all the Flash features, but that, as they say, is Life. We appreciate all the critiques and suggestions, but anyone who dares send us another "Flash is Evil" diatribe, will be emailed an enormous, unwanted attachment image of band members' dental x-rays. Enjoy the new site. Way to go, Web construction workers and Web construction worker's foreman!

GREAT SHOWS IN MARCH

After the Warner show, we'll prepare for our Texas return. From the Mucky Duck in Houston (which always sells out, get tix early) we go to the live music hub of Austin. Unfortunately, this falls on the same week as the infamous South by Southwest Music Conference, and clubs are packed to the gills, but we will be making an appearance at the local Borders for a free in-store performance. After this we'll hit the town to see the great garage bands of tomorrow grasping for that coveted 15 minutes of fame. Texas wraps up with a first-ever appearance at Dallas' renown Gypsy Tea Room on a Saturday Night - not to be missed! The next week, we're off to the great Palmetto State of South Carolina for our ole fave The Handlebar and a first ever appearance at the Music Farm of Charleston. Both dates sandwich a Friday night first-ever appearance at Blue Cats in Knoxville. The following week is single date at the great Starr Hill in Charlottesville on Saturday. By month's end, we make our first ever (save for a Borders appearance in '99) in Minnesota at Cedar Cultural Cntr in Minneapolis. After that, it's off to a debut at Luther Blues in Madison, WI, and wrapping up with a return to Michigan (The Intersection, Grand Rapids, MI). The band is even playing brand new songs at shows, for those of you who have had your fill of the old ones.

EFO TO PERFORM FREE IN-STORES AT BORDERS BOOKS & MUSIC

Just like with "Quick", we'll be performing at a few select Borders to promote the new CD, sing a few songs, and sign some swag. This Thursday, we'll be at the Glen Allen, VA store at 7pm, and Friday at 12:30pm, we'll be at the Washington DC store (details below). Come on out. You can't beat the price. Details are below. More Borders appearances are slated for March and April, including Austin, TX on Friday, March 7.

CANCELLED FEBRUARY TENNESSEE TOUR RESCHEDULED FOR MAY

Unfortunately, we had to cancel our tour in mid-February to Tennessee, but thanks to some very cool and understanding bookers at these venues, we've been able to reschedule both dates:
Thursday, May 8 - Third & Lindsley, Nashville, TN
Friday, May 9 - Rhythm & Brews, Chattanooga, TN
We're sorry for any and all inconveniences for the cancellation, and we hope you can join us in a few months.

JOIN THE STREET TEAM

Since announcing the open-recruiting for the EFO Street Team, the response has been overwhelming. If you're interested, check out the details at our site. http://www.eddiefromohio.com

MAKE PLANS FOR THE THIRD EDHEAD CRUISE !!

Edhead Cruise III will take place November 13-17, 2003. It will be a four day cruise this time, as opposed to three. One of the most exciting things is the point of origin and return: NEW ORLEANS!!! This leaves a whole lotta potential for N'awlins Nonsense on both sides of the trip. The cruise will go from N.O. to Cozumel and back aboard Carnival's Holiday ship.
Details are posted at http://www.belairtrav.com/efocrus.htm
Reservations are already pourin' in --- Don't miss the boat!!! (If nautical nonsense be something you wish...)

We hope to see ya at a show soon,
Folk On!
