Hey everybody! Greetings from the EFO camp. It is time for another installment of Life on the road with EFO!

Last week was a great time once again in the southeast.

Our first stop was in the great city of Charleston, SC. Even when the weather is 40 degrees it is still nice to see palm trees after a couple trips up to New England. The Music Farm is a legendary venue - Home of Hootie and the Blowfish, and the dressing room is papered with stickers from great bands like Train, The Samples, Everything, etc. Unfortunately, we did not have a lot of time to spend in Charleston, but we had a great time at the show with our friends in a comedy troop called the Have Nots. Thanks for remembering us, and thanks to everyone who came to the show!

The second night was at the Handlebar in Greenville, SC. This is one of our favorite places to play. The Jeeters (owners) have been very good to us, and the town has really embraced us. I think this was our best night ever in Greenville! Sold out room with lots of rabid fans! It is nice to feel the love after playing a town for 12 years. Our friend Rachel Davis stopped by to play a handful of songs and I think she really grabbed the audience. Great job Rachel! Thanks to Chris, Emily, Todd and Meagan for taking Mike and I out after the show. We went to a cool after hours place called - I cannot remember. Anyway, there was a really good fusion band playing. Who would have thought that Greenville could be so hip?

Last, but not least was the Great Aunt Stella center in Charlotte. We played more rooms in Charlotte than I can remember. This new place is just starting a new concert series in an old church. It is a very nice room with good acoustics - you could almost say that the room is acoustically perfect! We performed an off mic version of Walk Humbly Son that sounded great in that little room.

Then it was off to beet the snow and ice home. Everyone say a prayer, or raise a glass for old Harvey - our RV. She is not feeling to good these days. And, despite a new trailer, she still is having engine trouble. After 220,000 miles, I am not surprised. We are going to make her last as long as we can.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for coming out to the shows. Hopefully, we will be back down there soon. Now it is off to sunny California, and it could not come at a better time.

Take care and be safe!

Thanks!
