We're fresh off a stellar Main Stage appearance at the Four Corners Folk Fest in Pagosa Springs CO (our 7th time in 8 years), not to mention a triumphant return to our hometown Wolf Trap Filene Center. Thank you to all who attended our Aug 17 performance. We all agreed it was our favorite show there, ever. September will be a busy one for your faithful quartet, as Julie remains in good health, Eddie plans for a 2007 wedding between gigs, Newlywed Mike drifts along in marital bliss, and yoga-artist Robbie toggles between adult and children's music. ROBBIE RELEASES FIRST KIDS CD "SONGS FOR KIDS LIKE US" Robbie Schaefer's first collection of children's music, SONGS FOR KIDS LIKE US, has been officially released by Rocket Pop Records. CD Baby has this to say about the new CD " ...here is an artist who finds no need to 'dumb down' music for the small people and who can bridge both accessibility and age-appropriate content with solid, well-written, thoughtfully-conceived songs built on real instruments, "normal" singing voices and backed by an enthusiastic choir of kids. Largely based on folk, Robbie Schaefer's style is both fun and silly but at its heart, is driven by quality and integrity." Order on-line now from Robbie's new kid-centric website, www.songsforkidslikeus.com (which includes streaming songs, show info, and of course, coloring pages), as well as www.rocketpoprecords.com. MICHAEL RELEASES HIS FIRST SOLO CD After 15 years with EFO, and 40 years on the planet, EFO bassist/guitarist/vocalist Michael Clem has released his first solo CD, "1st & 40" Produced by bandmate Eddie Hartness, "1st & 40" is a collection of 11 new originals by Clem.
