Who Let the Dog Days Out?

With some beautiful outdoor appearances throughout rural Virginia and a fine finish with our fifth straight appearance at the 15th Annual Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, July was a month for the books. With the exception of a few small drops at a workshop stage, we continue an amazing rain-free run of dates, and hope to continue the streak throughout August.

A DAY IN THE WOODS FESTIVAL THIS SATURDAY

The infamous "Day" is finally here. Pack your blankets & sunscreen and head on out to Columbia, Maryland's prestigious Merriweather Post Pavilion, where EFO headlines a day-long event of some of the best in acoustic music. The pavilion stage will feature EFO, Keller Williams, Dar Williams (no relation), and Matt Nathanson, while switching back and forth with a fine rotation of acts on the side stage -- the music will be non-stop. Tickets are still available (starting as low as $20) Here's the day's schedule:

Main Stage

Matt Nathanson 3:00-3:50
Dar Williams 4:10-5:20
Keller Williams 5:40-6:50
Eddie from Ohio 7:20-8:50

Second Stage

We Are About 9 2:30-3:00 & 3:50-4:10
Brown Couch 5:15-5:45
Teitur 6:50-7:20

Other details are listed below

THE REST OF AUGUST

The remainder of the month will be main stage appearances at some of the finest folk festivals in the country. Aug 16, we'll makeour first-ever appearance at the SummerStage Music Festival in Sugarbush, VT. The following week, we'll make our third appearance at the granddaddy of them all: Philly Folk -- and on Labor Day Weekend, we return to one of our all-time favorites, The Four Corners Folk Festival in Pagosa Springs, CO. This will be our fourth appearance, but after a year off, we're desperate for our Southern Colorado fix. Again, details for all these are listed below.

THE CRUISE IS CRUISIN'! (http://www.belairtrav.com/efocrus.htm)

As of today, we have more reservations than any total number of reservations in the past. Obviously, the four day tour from New Orleansto Cozumel has excited more than just the band. As announced last month, there will be a special N.O. show at the House of Blues. The good folks at Bel Air Travel have set up a special hotel package for that night before (Nov 12). If interested, contact them for details at Belair@belairtrav.com.

EFO SWAG

Having sold out of "Three Rooms" at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival, it's important to let you know, that EFO discs and fashions are available by going directly to http://www.bulletproofartists.com/onlinestore/category.cfm?Category=19

Well, that's it for this month. Always check with the website for updates and details. http://www.efohio.com
Shows are listed below for August in addition to a quick list for September & October.
Hope to see you at a show soon,
