Happy Independence Day, Edheads On-line!

Though we won't be performing this Fourth of July, we wish you all the sparkler twirling, fountain lighting, sulphur smelling, barbecue coal extinguishing your body can handle. We're just coming back from our first-ever visit to the Kate Wolf Festival in Laytonville, CA. Check out the band's journal entry on the main web page for all the scandalous details (www.efohio.com).

EFO'S BIG HOMETOWN SUMMER PLAY JUST A MONTH AWAY!!

"A DAY IN THE WOODS MUSIC FESTIVAL" AT MERRIWEATHER POST PAVILION, COLUMBIA, MD
SATURDAY, AUGUST 2 - A DAY-LONG MUSIC EVENT FEATURING A FULL EDDIE FROM OHIO SET
ALONG WITH DAR WILLIAMS, KELLER WILLIAMS AND MATT NATHANSON.
An additional sidestage will feature great up & coming acts like We're About 9, Brown Couch and Teitur (others to be announced soon)
There will be activities on the lawn & in the woods, along with vendors & rock climbing.
Don't miss the event of the Summer!

OUTDOOR SHOWS & FESTIVALS IN JULY

In addition to a first-ever appearance in Greensburg, PA (just outside of Pittsburgh), we're happy to return to one of our favorite outdoor shows - Lime Kiln in Lexington, VA (an amazing natural amphitheater in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley). By month's end, we return for the 5th time in a row to the ever-popular Falcon Ridge Folk Festival in Hillsdale, NY (we're slated for a Saturday Eve mainstage spot, and possibly some workshops). Hey, it's Falcon Ridge - just be there.

BAND JOURNAL - ADDED FEATURE TO THE WEB PAGE

Recently, we've begun to post journal entries on our main web page, which sum up the most recent week's events. With a rotation of all four of us writing, you'll get a different perspective each entry. Julie may focus on the quality of chicken wings; Robbie may focus on the quality of coffee backstage; Eddie may focus on the quality of sound gear; Mike may actually focus. Even if you can't be with us in person, maybe we can bring you the next best thing: a completely fabricated account of life on the road with EFO.

CRUISE UPDATE

We've been plugging the Edhead Cruise III for some time (NOV 13-17, 2003 - 4 DAYS FROM N'AWLINS-2-COZUMEL), and we're sure glad we did -- as of today - we have more sign ups than we've ever had on any total final cruise roster!! In addition to that great news, we're excited to announce that the band has added a kick-off date in New Orleans at the House of Blues the night before departure (Nov 12). Can this cruise get any better?!?! It's still not too late to get on board. Go to the travel agent's website for details - http://www.belairtrav.com/efocrus.htm

Great making new friends, and great keeping old friends
hope to see you at a show soon,
