After a 19 Day Hiatus/Fall Break, we're coming out swingin'- no better way than with a return to one of our favorite hometown haunts: The legendary Birchmere in Alexandria, VA. If you've gotten tickets -- good for you - because Friday and Saturday are SOLD OUT -- however, there are a few tickets remaining for the Sunday show. All indications are that this show will sell out in advance, too -- so don't miss out. We're very juiced for these shows. It's always a blast, and we look forward to getting out some new songs to the hometown crowd, in addition to the ole standbys. No sooner do we close our instrument cases at the Birch, than we head down to New Orleans where our ship departs for the Third Edhead Cruise. This time will be unique as we have an in-land kick off date at The House of Blues. This is, of course, open to the public, and not a private party for cruisers. So for the sea-sick prone and land dependent - c'mon out! We've only been to N'awlins once before -- the year was 1994 (June). Our memory is vague, but our tab was huge. This promises to be one to remember. This year's Edhead Cruise (from N.O. to Cozumel and "back") boasts the highest signup yet for our cruises. We promise to come back with lots of stories, conch shells and piercings. "SOPHISTICATED LADY" IS BACK Julie's beloved collection of jazz standards (recorded live at the Birchmere several years ago with an ace combo) has been out of print for a while, but it's back in circulation by popular demand.
